ABOUT

A real person prints it.

Tex’s Prints is a one-bench operation in Houston, Texas. The site you are reading was built and is run by the same person who racks the spools, slices the files, and packs the boxes.

Most 3D printing services pitch themselves like factories. Big quote engines, anonymous lead times, generic packaging, a chatbot for “support.” That is not what this is. The catalog here is small on purpose, because every object on the shelf is one I have actually printed enough times to know its quirks, the material it likes, the layer height that gets it right.

The custom-quote tool is the part most shops do badly. Upload an STL, the slicer runs it for real (no estimating from triangle counts), and the price you see is the price you pay. Materials are domestic-roll PLA and PETG by default, with PETG-CF and TPU available for parts that need them. The pricing in the breakdown is the actual cost stack: filament, electricity, depreciation, labor markup, Texas sales tax. No hidden bench fees.

If you want something we have not figured out how to make yet, email us. We will probably say yes.
