Reconstitution stands that hold the vial still and the diluent close

Reconstituting a lyophilized vial takes two vials, a syringe, and two hands, and the bench gives you somewhere to put none of them. A reconstitution stand holds the small vial and the diluent vial upright in bores cut to their bodies, with a rest for the syringe between them and a base that does not walk. Printed in PETG, ASA, or PLA, with the same ±0.2 mm bore tolerance as our racks.

Diluent bores follow the 10 ml and 20 ml rack specs (30 ml serum vials share the 30 mm body). Small-vial bores follow the 2 ml and 3 ml specs.

Why the base is heavier than it looks

A stand that tips when a syringe is drawn against it is worse than the bench. The base is printed solid at 8 mm, wider than the vials it holds, with four TPU feet pressed into recesses on the underside. On a wiped laminate bench it does not slide under a one-handed draw. Ask for a tilted version and the diluent bore is angled 15 degrees toward the user, which some techs prefer for seeing the needle.

The syringe rest

A shallow V-groove between the bores holds a 1 or 3 ml syringe barrel with the tip clear of the base. It is a place to set the syringe down between steps, not a sharps holder and not a cap. The groove is sized for common barrel diameters; tell us yours if it is unusual.

Materials and cleaning

PETG is the default because it takes isopropyl wipe-downs and a bit of abuse. ASA for stands near a window or in a warm room. PLA for the lowest cost if the stand stays indoors at room temperature. None of the three are autoclavable and we make no sterility claims. A stand is a piece of bench furniture; it does not touch what is in the vial.

What we do and do not sell

We print the stand. We never sell peptides, diluent, syringes, or advice about any of them. Everything here is for organizing research vials on a bench, and what you do at that bench is your responsibility.
